Polyethylene, Hydrogenated Polycyclopentadiene, Stearoxy Dimethicone (Siliconyl Polyethylene PC38) is a new wax with many unique formulating advantages. It is a blend designed to reduce the hardness of finished products, while not affecting the finished products melt point or gelling properties. You can use Siliconyl Polyethylene PC38 when typical waxy occlusive properties are not desired. It is also a proven sunscreen enhancer and pigment dispersant aid.

Application:
Siliconyl Polyethylene PC38 is used for its superior film forming properties. It creates a creamy gel with low viscosity with great skin feel, slip and a non-waxy skin feel. Siliconyl Polyethylene is also a proven dispersing aid for organic sunscreens, in some cases providing up to a 10% boost in SPF.
