Description:
Naturalatum has been designed to replace petrolatum in cosmetic formulations. Naturalatum consists of high molecular weight vegetable waxes dispersed into vegetable oils making an amorphous gel. Naturalatum® does not contain petroleum hydrocarbon ingredients or hydrogenated vegetable oils, yet has physical and chemical properties similar to petrolatum.
Application:
Naturalatum improves thermal stability, emollience, lubricity and acts as a plasticizer. NaturalAtum reduces moisture loss and creates barrier properties in cosmetic products.
NaturalAtum can be used in all types of cosmetic preparations where petrolatum is used.
