Cyclopentasiloxane & Dimethicone
Description:
MIRASIL C-DMB is a solution of ultra-high viscosity polydimethylsiloxane at 15% in cyclopentasiloxane.
Skin Care: Cyclopentasiloxane & Dimethicone provides a smooth dry feel to skin. Its substantivity and water proofing effect are most useful for skin Care and Sun Care formulations.
Hair Care: The blend of cyclopentasiloxane and dimethicone provides a conditioning agent with low surface tension. The volatile cyclopentasiloxane enhances wet combing while the non-volatile dimethicone gum provides dry hair conditioning, softening and shine.
